Tang Dynasty Show Xian

Xian has long been one of the strongest influences on the arts in China. Xian was the capital during the Tang Dynasty, which was considered the Golden Age of Chinese culture. The dancing of the Xian Tang Dynasty show was recreated according to different historical documents, ancient relics, murals and artifacts that were re-discovered in Xian. At the time of the Tang Dynasty, Xian was the capital of the empire. The dancing is energetic and vibrant with beautiful costumes showcasing the grace of the dancers.

The show includes both the performance and a delicious 18 course dumpling banquet. It is an all you can eat affair and you have the chance to try dumplings with a variety of fillings such as chicken, pork, beef and nuts. There are other items included too such as tenderloin beef and rice. To accompany that there is plenty of beer, rice wine and jasmine tea to go around too.

When dinner has finished, then the Tang Dynasty show begins. It guides the audience through court life and practices that were in place more than a thousand years ago in China.
